Join Brighton's resident sea angling expert "Fishy" Rob Howard aboard his vessel "BIF1" for a 3hr inshore fishing trip before heading over to Fins & Forks HQ for an afternoon in the kitchen, learning the secrets to crispy skin EVERY time and some seasonal favourites centred around whatever you have skilfully plucked from the channel.
Join us for our signature "Bait to Plate" experience which sees you catching your own shrimp for bait before targeting Bass, Squid and other species ahead of a hands on kitchen session at Fins & Forks HQ where amongst other things, you will learn the secret to our Sussex squid bhajis... and get to eat them too.
The purest form of angling (according to the purists anyway) Embark on a guided challenge to stalk and catch a Trout "on the fly" at the gin clear waters of Chalk Springs Fishery in Arundel. Following which you will spend the afternoon in our Fins & Forks Smokehouse kitchen where you will prepare and cure your catch for the smoker and learn
(and eat!) some of our favourite seasonal recipes. Your smoked fish is then posted out to you a few days later when its ready.

As is sometimes the case weather or conditions can get the better of us and it can become unviable to target certain species. if your species is unavailable, or BIF1 cannot sail we invite you to join us for our "match the hatch", or, we can look to do just the cooking element of the day with a reduction in cost. Alternatively we will do our very best to reschedule your booking.
On those rare occasions where no matter our best efforts the fish do not bite, or worse still one gets away, Fins & Forks kitchen is always stocked with freshly landed Sussex species to match your package, meaning you can enjoy the remainder of your day and add your own verse to the anglers most common fable... the one that got away.
