We are delighted to be launching this with our partners at Chalk Springs Trout Fishery in Arundel. So if you fancy catching something different for the table, head over there, do your best, and we will collect, process and return your cold smoked fish ready for collection. Prices start at £12 per fish.
We are delighted to have secured a pitch at Arundel farmers market, come down and see us to grab a pack of our cold smoked trout, raised less than a mile from the market site.
We hate waste, especially when there is a living creature involved, so we smoke to order. Any the fish you request will still be happily swimming around in Arundel, snapping insects from the surface. Only once we have placed our order with Chalk Springs will the exact amount of fish we need be quickly and humanely dispatched, before being collected by us.
We will grade each fish personally, deciding which cures and methods suit each individual fish best - matching them to your orders. Only then will we begin the process of preparing, curing, smoking, maturing and packaging these wonderful fish by hand.
Once complete your product will be delivered to you the following Friday ready to enjoy. All fish is suitable for home freezing and will come with a minimum of 5 days shelf life from end of production process.
