Dry cured, cold smoked Sussex & Chalkstream Rainbow Trout takes centre stage here. Our Sussex fish come from Chalk Springs Fishery in Arundel where they spend their days in gin clear water before being hand prepared, cured & cold smoked gently over alder in our newly built smokehouse, then hand sliced ready for you.
We are delighted to be launching this with our partners at Chalk Springs Trout Fishery in Arundel. So if you fancy catching something different for the table, head over there, do your best, and we will collect, process and return your cold smoked fish ready for collection. Prices start at £12 per fish.
We are delighted to have secured a pitch at 2 local farmers markets, come down and see us to grab a pack of our cold smoked trout, smokehouse pate or house smoked salt. Steyning Market is on the 1st Saturday of the month & Arundel is the 3rd Saturday. Both 9am-1pm
We are currently going through shelf life viability & microbiological product testing, once this is complete we hope to open up for nationwide UK mainland delivery with a much extended shelf life from out current 5 days. We will smoke to order each week with product being delivered on Fridays ready for the weekend.
